According to 2017 UNESCO report, the leading study abroad destination countries are Germany, UK, France, Denmark, Italy, US, Austria, Ukraine, Switzerland, Malta and Australia.
Based on 2017 Open Door report there were 1460 students from Poland to USA. Over 650 of them were undergraduate students, which marks an 8.9% increase compared to the previous year.
English Language Teaching (ELT) schools in Malta hosted more than 87,000 international students in 2017 according to Malta’s National Statistics Office (NSO), - Polish student numbers in Malta’s ELT schools grew in 2017 to 4,510 an increase of 44% over 2016.
In the last few years the number of students in UK is regularly increasing. In 2015/2016 academic year, 6585 students enrolled in UK Institutions from Poland but the number in 2014/2015 was 5245 students.
According to reports Germany’s international enrolment is very well diversified and with the students from Poland shows level of growth year over year. Increase of %2,4 was seen from 2016 to 2017.
